How to get here – Your Travel Options
There are three companies offering cross Solent travel for cars and passengers, Wightlink, Red Funnel and Hovertravel. Foot passengers may also use the new Scoot ferry service between Lymington and Yarmouth with a crossing time of 25 minutes. Booking is recommended via www.scootferries.co.uk
We make it easy for guests to practise responsible travel by leaving the car at home. The most convenient route to us is the Wightlink car/passenger ferry between Lymington and Yarmouth where the terminal is only a 5 minute drive from our location at Kings Manor Farm. Alternatively, it is a beautiful 30 minute level walk to our site along the Freshwater Way.
There are regular daily sailings, generally every hour, and the crossing time is only 35 minutes. South West Trains Lymington Pier station serves the Wightlink Isle of Wight Ferry.
We will collect you in our Zero Emissions Nissan Leaf from the Wightlink Yarmouth ferry terminal and take you to our site without impacting on the environment or can arrange discounted bicycle hire with bikes to meet you at the ferry with a free baggage transfer service. You can buy bus rover tickets to tour the Island from the bus station in Yarmouth and there are bus stops close to the site.
